After stepping foot in the hostel after fleeing Seoul, Reese and the other hares find themselves on a plane headed for New Jersey. Felix has been exiled on account of regicide, and those who were not at the scene have joined the exile out of respect. They plan to take the time before the war to increase relations with the humans. Of course, this cannot occur.
